Glee, Modern Family Stars Celebrate at FOX Emmy Party

Following the hoopla of the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards, stars flocked to the FOX Emmy Nominee Party in Los Angeles last night (August 29).
“Glee” cast members like Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Naya Rivera, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz, Corey Monteith, and creator Ryan Murphy all looked to be having a marvelous time.
Additionally, the “Modern Family” crew showed up to party, including Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sofia Vergara. Heidi Klum and Seal were there as well.
“Modern Family” won the Best Comedy Series, Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and Writing in a Comedy Series, while “Glee” took home trophies for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Directing in a Comedy Series, and Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.

Check Out Kurt’s New BF On Glee!!!

He’s cute!
There’s a new, handsome face joining the team at McKinley High and we’re finally getting some real confirmation that he might be the rumored new beau for Chris Colfer’s Kurt character!
Chord Overstreet, best known for his work on iCarly, joins Glee this season as a rival football player for Cory Monteith’s character, Finn. However, last night at yet another Emmy Awards soiree, cast member Jane Lynch alluded that he could be much more. When asked about Kurt’s new BF, Jane confessed:
“They’ve cast him already. He becomes the new star quarterback and he’s going to be Kurt’s boyfriend.”
While Jane wouldn’t outright admit that Chord is Kurt’s man, she described the character as “tall, boyish with straight blonde hair and big fat, pouty lips.”
Ding! Ding! We’ve got a winner! Chord totally fits that description!
Aw, they look cute together! We’re excited to see the love play out!
Not too long now before the new season starts. Are U excited???

“Glee” Stars Bring End to Busy Work Week

Bringing an end to a long week of filming, the stars of the hit show “Glee” were spotted biding their break time on the set in Los Angeles, California on Friday (August 20).
While Mark Salling practiced his skateboarding skills, brunette beauty Lea Michele cruised around on her pink cruiser as co-stars Dianna Agron and Jenna Ushkowitz bonded while snacking in between takes.
A source tells of the scene, “At one point Dianna took out her cell phone and started to film the paparazzi at a distance, giving the whole cast and crew a good laugh.”
The week-ending work efforts come after a high profile past few days during which pop star Britney Spears spent time on-set working on an upcoming episode centered around her music.
Posting numerous tweets throughout her set visits, Brit wrote cheerful messages such as, “We love GLEE! Its GLEEKERIFIC!!! -Britney” and “All my GLEEKERS in the crowd, Grab a partner take it down -Brit”

Kings Of Leon Turned Down Glee!

Oh, whatever, boys!
You guys sold out segued shamelessly into mainstream with Only By The Night, don’t act like you’re so ‘above’ popular culture now!
Kings Of Leon‘s frontman Caleb Folowill revealed that he and the band rejected opportunities for their music to be performed on Glee, as well as Ugly Betty (R.I.P.) and various movie trailers!
He says:
“We had some people call us up wanting to know if we’d allow Use Somebody to appear in the trailer for their next movie, and we turned them down. Next day, they called back and tried to put us through to the star of the movie — I won’t name names, but he’s an incredibly famous actor — to let him try and convince us to agree to do it. I was like, ‘Man, don’t even waste your energy’.”
Oh, wow! You guys are sooooo cool!
BARF.
We sincerely hope they aren’t going to take the MGMT and M.I.A. route and shit all over all of their fans, because they’d rather be nonconformist and ‘above’ mainstream instead of focusing on making decent music!
So lame!

Lea Michele Pushes for Justin Timberlake on Glee

In a new interview, Lea Michele proves she has a very sexy side and, also, very good taste in men.
The actress rarely has a chance show off much of the former on Glee, as she portrays the straight-laced Rachel Berry. But she gets to be seductive and alluring in a shoot for celebrity hairdresser Mark Townsend’s official website.
Michele is also asked who she’d like to see guest star on her hit Fox show and replied with an answer we share: “Justin Timberlake would be the perfect Glee guest star: He sings, he dances, and he’s hilarious.”
Recent Glee spoilers hint that this may actually take place on the Super Bowl episode of the musical comedy. Commence fist-pumping, fans!

Finally Someone Who Is NOT Going To Be On Glee!

We guess she doesn’t owe Ryan Murphy any favors!
Julia Roberts will not be appearing on Glee even though she’s a “great singer.”
She explains:
“(Actor) Billy Crudup and I were in a Woody Allen musical a couple of years ago and so he said, ‘Oh, you’re a great singer,’ and my husband said, ‘You are a great singer.’ So, now I’m going to say I am a great singer, (but) I’m not just going on Glee.”
Fine by us!

Should Justin Bieber Guest Star on Glee?

Britney Spears is booked for an appearance on Glee.
Might Justin Bieber follow in her (kinda trashy) footsteps?
In an interview with Access Hollywood this week, series creator Ryan Murphy was asked if he’d entertain the idea of Bieber on his Fox hit? The enthusiastic reply, according to TV Fanatic:
“I think he’s so phenomenally talented and I think he’s great. So, yes, if he was interested I would make that happen… the [cast sings] his stuff all day long. They sing ‘Baby.’”
In just its first season, Glee showcased big-name guest stars such as Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Idina Menzel and Molly Shannon. John Stamos and Carol Burnett have already signed on for season two appearances.
Do you think Bieber, who will make his TV debut on CSI this fall, is right for the show? Should he take Murphy up on the offer?
