Attorney for Danielle Staub to Seek Assault Charges Against RHONJ Cast Members

You’ve gotta love reality TV.
On Monday night, Bravo aired an epic fight between Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice. It eventually resulted in Jacqueline Laurita’s 19-year-old daughter (Ashley Holmes) ripping out the former’s weave.
This confrontation actually took place in November, however, as it was documented at the time and Holmes was forced by the court to pay a $189 fine. Case closed, right?
Wrong says Staub’s lawyer, Paul Giblin. Speaking to Hollywood Life, he said of the incident: “We are going to use this footage and prepare a case against these women. We are seeking assault and battery charges, defamation of character and punitive damages as well.”
First, we’ll need a few minutes to stop laughing over the concept that anything could defame Staub at this point. Pretty sure her arrest record and sex tape have done that on their own already.
Second, any case Staub and her lawyer wished to have brought against her castmates would have been filed months ago. This incident is old news. It was simply shown to the world this week, on a series for which Staub makes hundreds of thousands of dollars to appear.
This makes Giblin’s concluding comments positivelty hilarious:
“We will get restraining orders by the judge against Teresa, Ashley and all others involved… We are going to ask to impose sanctions against these women, whatever the law allows… This is some kind of conspiracy, it’s like a gang mentality.”
If Giblin is referring to the gang of Bravo writers that came up with this storyline, then he’s absolutely correct.

Mel Gibson’s Lawyers Seek Contempt Against Oksana

Things are getting more complicated in the case of Mel Gibson vs. Oksana Grigorieva.
The dirty, rotten scoundrel has now filed legal papers in the former couple’s custody battle, claiming that Oksana is responsible for leaking the secretly-recorded tapes that contained his hateful tirade.
Oksana was issued a restraining order last month by a judge, prohibiting her from leaking the tapes, however Mel’s camp is saying she was the one who violated the order and released them herself for big bucks.
Mel’s lawyers are asking the judge to issue an order allowing them to search through Oksana’s computer and iPhone for emails and text messages that would prove that she released the tapes.
Oksana had previously denied that she was the one who leaked the recordings.
SO OUT OF CONTROL!! Doesn’t Mel have the dignity to just stop and go away forever???

Elin Woods to Seek Full Custody of Tiger Cubs

Her impending divorce from Tiger Woods is about to become more heated if reports that Elin Nordegren will seek full custody of their two kids are true.
While she wants Tiger to be a big part of their children’s lives, she’s said to be resistant to agreeing to joint custody, which the embattled golfer wants.
This behind-the-scenes development could turn the estranged pair’s private dissatisfaction into a loud, contentious, public Tiger Woods divorce battle.
Elin and Tiger live currently separate lives in separate houses, approximately a mile apart, and despite close physical proximity, they are not speaking.
“They share the children, but the nannies drive the kids,” a source said. “[Elin Woods] has her people communicate with him so she doesn’t have to.”
Tiger, who is supposedly not allowed to date, per lawyers’ instructions, has been spotted with an Elin look-alike in recent weeks. That’ll go over well.
Elin and Tiger Woods are already squaring off over custody.
The Swedish beauty recently took their two children to Sweden, sparking rumors that she may want to move back to her home country with the kids.
At the time, Elin and Tiger had informally agreed to a joint custody agreement as they try to hammer out the divorce terms before filing. But no longer.
“Elin isn’t saying that she’s moving to Sweden but she does want full custody now,” one source said. “She has changed a lot since Tiger’s cheating.”
Things were going well, but “Since he returned to golf, she’s distanced herself from him. It seems to have killed their small chance at reconciling.”
Both Tiger and Elin have hired divorce lawyers but not filed papers. She is said to want $750 million from Tiger in a record-breaking settlement.
Whatever she gets, it will be a lot. “But the real fight is going to be over the kids,” the source says. “Tiger is not going to give up without a fight.”

Prosecutors to Seek Murder Charge Against Bruce Beresford-Redman

It won’t be long until former TV producer Bruce Beresford-Redman is arrested for killing his wife.
According to the suspect’s attorney, Jaime Cancino Leon, prosecutors will make their decision early next week – and the most likely charge will be first-degree murder, stemming from the death of Monica Beresford-Redman last month in Cancun.
Cancino told TMZ he’s displeased with Mexican officials because it’s easier for them to simply charge his client than actually investigate the case.
“Bruce has never had the chance to defend himself,” the lawyer said. “They didn’t even give him the chance to participate in the investigation.”
If a Mexican judge determines there’s probable cause to charge Beresford-Redman, he’ll likely get extradited to that country. A conviction of of first-degree murder there results in a prison sentence of four to 20 years.
